A six goal unanswered spree in the second term set up the Inverell Saints big win over the Narrabri Eagles at Leitch Oval on Saturday.
Newcomers Tom Mcgregor & Anthony Pages led the way for the Saints with four goals a piece as the visitors ran away with a comprehensive 99 point win.
After a close opening quarter where the Saints held a slender 10 point lead at the first break, the flood gates opened as the home side was restricted to only two more goals for the afternoon.
Sam Kimmice & Beau Coles again dominated play and was well supported by Luke Selig who had a different role playing in the backline.
A pleasing sign for coach Dick Gleeson is the amount of goal scoring options that are available to him considering Mike Gould, Chris Whitton and Justin Pay are to come back into the side.
The scoreline suggests it could have been much worse for the Eagles with the Saints once again missing plenty of opportunities in front of goal.
The Saints will be once again on the road to Gunnedah this Saturday to tackle the Dogs at Wolseley Oval in another danger game.
Goal Kickers: T. McGregor 4, A. Pages 4, T. Desborough 3, D. Baldwin 2, B. Cosgrove, D. Harrison, K. Te Velde, B. Coles
