With top of the table in League Coastal Titans too strong in Saturday's game. While there was plenty to be excited about in the Shark camp including debuting youth girls Karen Adams and Liv Strandley, the Sharks were missing 5 regular League players at State under 23's and combined with the already injured, didn't have the power they needed to kick a winning score. The Sharks held the Titans early and were well in the game at half time- but strong performances from Swanson in the midfield and Kinsman down back were not enough to lift the girls. Titans running out easy winners in the end 12:9:81 def EF 2:6:18

A BIG congratulations to Nicole 'Skip' Bosotin who played game number 50 in the Blue & White on Saturday night.
In what promised to be a close encounter against second placed Coastal Titans - having been only mere points between the two sides last time they met, the Reserves arrived ready to battle. What surprised most was the inclusion on 7 Titans league players from the night before's game, which spoke volumes for how our rivals felt the contest would be played out. Unfortunately on the day, the Titans outfit proved too strong, running out winners 12-7-79 to 0-0-3, despite the best efforts of a coaching masterstroke to move Narelle Scott into the Ruck, Sophie Staniforth through the centre and Nicole George down back.
