The Reserves played their first away game for the year, heading out to Koonung Park to face Manningham
The Reserves found it hard to hit moving targets and were disapppointed with not getting as many clearances using the “quarterback” as hoped. Unable to score in the 2nd quarter, fitness and accountability again was a factor. By half-time, Coach “Porky” challenged the guys. The Magoos did improve defensively but, still could not hit many forward leads. Come the 4th quarter, the sting of the came began to peter out but, the Synners had 7 scoring shots to 4 which in cluded 2 goals from Ruickman, Blake Stewart. Manningham finished up winning by 49 points. Danno and Brent again ran all day and Nugget may have found a spot in the backline
