Round 2 BLACKBURN

The seniors didn’t turn up for records, but we did front for the four points and to continue to develop the 2016 team with a number of new faces and some rapidly improving youngsters. See four of them left. Ryan Phillips (aged 19), Darcy Crocker ( 19),Charlie Young (18) and Liam Buxton (19)

The Reserves game turned out to be a thriller when our boys came back from a thrashing to hit the front on the scoreboard with seconds to go. Only to see the Umpires amend the scores after the siren to show a DRAW !!. However, we would have quickly settled for that result at half time.

The Under 19 game was also very competitive for three quarters then we pulled away in final term for a very important 17 point win against a side that will be a contender. The FH Eagles did not play.
