The senior teams for this weekend's matches have been selected.
The action commences tonight, with Northcote Park hosting Montmorency under lights at Bill Lawry Oval. The Cougars have named five new players, including Collingwood VFL listed player Nick Gray, while Brett Zorzi plays his first game for the Magpies.
Michael Ryan makes his Lower Plenty return tomorrow when the Bears host a star-studded Heidelberg outfit. James Magner, Daniel Connors and Sam Gilmore are among the names who will make their debut for the Tigers at Montmorency Park.
Justin Sherman has been named for Whittlesea as it prepares to unfurl its Division 2 premiership flag against West Preston-Lakeside. The Roosters have included former Collingwood forward Patrick Karnezis and EFL star Rhett Jordon.
Meanwhile, Bundoora welcomes back four familiar faces when it hosts Macleod at Yulong Reserve, with brothers Trent and Troy Barbero, David Mitchell and Matthew Ferraro all named for their return games. The reigning premier has named former Bull Ned McKeown, Josh Totino and Reece Geary for their first game for the Roos.
In Division 2, Darragh McGovern and Timmy Peck are among four new faces named to play for Lalor in its home clash with Thomastown. The Bears have included Stefan Berak, Dean Franics and Carl Peterson.
Mungara Brown returns to the Fitzroy Stars as they host North Heidelberg at Sir Douglas Nicholls Oval, while Clinton Benjamin and Rivva Karpany will make their Stars debut. The Bulldogs have selected midfielder Luke Edmondson and former Reservoir captain Ryan Docherty.
Former Lower Plenty Matthew Duckworth makes his debut for Panton Hill when the Redbacks host Diamond Creek in a twilight clash at Cracknell Reserve. Brad Perry and Oliver Parks are among the new faces for the Demons.
In Division 3, Chris Tarrant is the biggest inclusion, with the former AFL star set to make his Banyule debut when the Bears host Watsonia. The ladder-leading Bears have also included Will Drapac and Bailey Jordan, while Xavier Kelly make his Watsonia debut.
Epping has included Daniel Moore, Tom Hughes and Shane Wood as it searches for its first win when it hosts Kilmore.
Meanwhile, Dillan Ronalds makes his St Mary's comeback when the Burra host Heidelberg West.
