The club is holding a special "Pink" Ladies AFL match as a curtain raiser to its crucial game against the Tamworth Roos at Varley Oval on Saturday. A number of businesses in the town have rallied around the cause. The ladies match will be played at 1pm Saturday and will be played over two 15 minute halves. The Saints will provide support with field, goal and boundary umpires and players in the match have been encouraged to wear something pink. The club would like to thank these businesses for their support: CL Squires, Terrace Hair Salon, Harvey Norman, Smooth Beauty, Simply Annabelle's - Country and Workin' Gear, Inverell High School, 2NZ/GEM-FM, New England Credit Union, Ditton's Pharmacy and Pam Weste. The AFL will be conducting a fundraiser and awareness of the Breast Cancer Network at the Sydney Swans v St.Kilda clash in Sydney on Saturday night.
