The Inverell Saints will be ready to play after the bitter disappointment of the forfeit against Narrabri and will travel to Tamworth to take on the Swans in a vital match for both clubs. The Swans although beaten last week by the Roos have shown tremendous improvement over recent weeks and will be keen to cause an upset to cement their place in the finals. Unfortunately for the Swans the Saints are hungry to cement their place at the top of the table and will be too strong all over the field for the Swans. Although the Saints haven't played much footy in the last month they played an intra-club practice match last Saturday and looked sharp. The young Swans will be hard to beat at home however I think the Saints will be too strong.
In a game which could decide The Swans future in the top 5 The Roos and the Bulldogs go head to head. The Roos are improving with every game and the Bulldogs will be full of confidence after their win over Muswellbrook Cats at home. This should be a close match with plenty on the line for both teams. At home the Roos will be hard to beat and if the Bulldogs aren't switched on they could be in for a hard day at the office. I'm tipping the improved Roos in a close finish.
The third match is an interesting match up between the Nomads who don't travel well and Narrabri Eagles who are very hard to beat at home. The Eagles will be fresh after their week off but on the other hand the Nomads will be full of confidence after their win over the Cats last weekend. This is a game that could go either way but with the semi finals just around the corner The Nomads have plenty to play for and I'm tipping a comfortable win over the Eagles
Disko's tips. The saints, The Roos and The Nomads.
The cats have the bye.
