Hello South West Tigers,
This year the AFL have organised a Wet Weather Check Website that can show you the status of ground with regards to it being OPEN, CLOSED or MOVED.
Just about every ground in the competition is governed by a different local government council so it has been a big task to get all the information together.
The Club Presidents will be responsible for updating the Website prior to weekend games. This link will take you to the South West Tigers home ground status for Greenway Park:

It is pretty easy to use but if you want instructions on how to use the website they can be found here:

You will be able to check your home ground or the away ground OPEN or CLOSED status using this website by searching for a club or ground.
Additionally, there is a possibility that your game can be MOVED to another ground if it hasn't been closed by the council. This is a good thing as it keeps the kids playing football and gets all the games played that are meant to be played.
Annoying as it is to be out in the rain as a spectator it is something the kids absolutely love! We don't have white jerseys anymore so it shouldn't be a problem for the designated domestic coordinator who ends up with the dirty gear. (Good on you mums and dads).
We will have this link on Team App and on the Sporting Pulse South West Tigers website at www.southwesttigers.com.au
Call me if you have a question.
