Damien Quinlan has been appointed coach of our Under 10 Brown side following a decsion to proceed with 2 Under 10 teams this season.
Damien is currently a teacher at Caulfield Grammar School where he teaches Year 10 PE. He has been teaching for over 20 years and has taught overseas and worked with students from all ages. As a junior he played football with Highett West, Cheltenham Assumption and trained with the Under 16's St.Kilda Junior Development Squad. In his senior years of footy he played with CBC St.Kilda and De La Salle College. For the last 2 years he has assisted with duties for the Under 9's on game days and is passionate about football. This season Damien's goals are to provide the under 10's with an enjoyable and positive learning experience. He aims to focus on encouraging each team member to work collaboratively with one another and to further develop their football knowledge and skills.
We welcome Damien to our coaching group and are confident all players will have a great year under his guidance.
The club is still looking for additional players for this age group. So if you know of any boys/girls that would be interested in joining the Hawks, invite them along to training next Tuesday at 5pm at Columbia Park.
