Family Night Sunday 22nd July - U11's Hosts
This Sunday the U11 families will host Family Night No.7 for 2007 (Gourmet Hot Dogs). Match awards will be presented on the night. John Carlile the U11's Coach will be the featured Coach
and will give a run-down of the days match & best players. The Night begins at 6:00 pm and the awards will be presented from Good Luck with this weeks round of matches.
Major Raffle - Trip to China 2007- Every player should have been given tickets!!!!!!!!
Tickets for the Major Club Raffle for 2007 have been distributed. Thanks to some fantastic sponsorship from Deca Constructions, Jetset Blackburn, De Fazios Restaurant, Jumbo's Restaurant and Smash Hit Printing the major prize is a trip for two people for seven nights in China valued at $4800 with meal prizes at De Fazio's and Jumbo's Restaurant valued at $100 each. Each player will given 5 tickets to buy/sell, not a big ask and a great deal for the Club. Please bring all tickets back to the Club by Round 14.
Committee vacancies 2008
Each year we need new Committee members to replace our retiring members. Next year we will have at least three vacancies due to the imminent retirement of three long-serving Committee, Ken Richards (Secretary), Simon Bilalis (Coach Coordinator) and Terry Brennan (Registration Secretary). These guys have done a tremendous job over the past couple of years but with all good things an end must come. However, they want to ensure a smooth transition so we are looking for interested people who could take over these jobs in 2008. If you are interested please speak to any of the Committee over the next few weeks.

BJFC Policy Review - Have your say
The current playing policy has been in place for 1 year and the 2008 Committee will decide on any amendments or changes. If you would like to provide some input into the policy review please send any comments to the President (danwain@optusnet.com.au) by Friday 27th July.
