Great Women's team response

Thanks to the overwhelming response, we are going to field two teams in the city division 4 and 5 competitions.

Coach Greg Vitulano is very excited about the quality and depth of the squads and the way the teams have come together. "We were determined to re-start our women's program this year and were hopeful of getting a team together but have been blown away with the response. By the second week of training, it became obvious that we would have sufficent players to form 2 teams".

The alliance with QUT and the local Punjabi community has proven to be a successful formula, with an eclectic mix of players joining the club from different parts of the state and northern NSW.

The city division 5 team starts their campaign on the first week of March while the division 4 team follows suit a week later. Training is on every Thursday from 7 pm onwards.
