Just six weeks remain until the season kicks off, and there's plenty happening between now and then.
A number of practice matches have already been locked in.
SUNDAY, MARCH 20
v North Ringwood at Eastern Ranges ground, Colchester Road, Kilsyth.
ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS, COACHES AND SUPPORTERS
We have been advised that Sunday's practice match against North Ringwood Football Club has been reduced to six quarters for the day due to the current weather conditions. The Eastern Ranges ground has undergone extensive works that must be protected with the Ranges and Shire of Lilydale making a call on Sunday's matches today.
We have agreed with North Ringwood that we will play the first three quarters with a combination of reserves and Under 19s players with the remaining three quarters a senior game.
The game will now commence at 12pm, with a 10-15 minute break before the seniors' half. All players must be at the ground by 11am.
This is out of our control and we must follow council direction, but it should still be a great hitout. Please share this information and see you all on Sunday!
SATURDAY, MARCH 26 (Easter Saturday)
v Mansfield at Mansfield
Includes all senior teams AND netball. Further details to follow.
Mansfield FC will be putting on a band in the clubrooms that night and there is plenty happening around the town for Easter. The club has kindly offered for players to bring their own sleeping gear and stay at the club to save driving home.
