Jarryn Fittock, 15, Ayden Eszes, 17, Cody Eszes, 14 and Josh Mulla, 16, are slowly starting to leave their footprints at premier league level in Cairns and in state schoolboys’ representative outfits.
Ayden Eszes made his top league debut for the Lions two weeks ago against Edge Hill.
“I found the step up really enjoyable,” he said. “It’s a faster competition, but it’s great playing at this level.
“I’m really keen to pursue a professional football career in the future.”
