Shave for a Cure
Some of our past players have got together to raise awareness and funds for leukaemia. Emma and Melanie Duff are 'Shaving their head for a cure' on Feb 14th. Their team is 'Hairless Hunnys'.
Emma and Melanie, along with their parents David and Anne have been with Mt Evelyn Netball for many many years. David was president for a number of years, playing an instrumental role in securing our current facilities at Morrison Reserve. David was diagnosed with leukaemia and through his experience has discovered that there are some many people out there with forms of blood cancer needing support, especially kids.
