Message from Outgoing President – Simon Forer
2015 brings to an end my second and last year as President of our club, however I intend to remain an active committee member in 2016 with an emphasis on assisting with ‘football’ related matters. I am delighted to be able to announce that George Wagner has accepted the role as President for 2016 and Katherine Smith has accepted the role of Secretary, taking over from Nerida Wines. I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to represent the club in the President’s role over the last two years. Whilst the role can be demanding I have been very well supported by the committee along with past committee members, life members and many good families in our community. In particular, I would like to thank Nerida Wines for her support and efforts over the past 2 years as Club Secretary. This is a demanding job that presents plenty of challenges and issues, however Nerida made this look easy. Nerida also coordinated the social side of club…something I genuinely believe sets us apart from other junior clubs and organisations! Nerida…..thankyou for the massive support you have been and for making our club a better place! Go Demons Simon Forer

Message from Incoming President – George Wagner
First of all I would like to take this opportunity thank Simon and Nerida for two years of outstanding service as President and Secretary. The great news is that both have decided to stay on the committee as our Football Operations Manager and Sponsorship and Marketing Co-ordinator respectively.
This year we have already picked up 3 new committee members with Liz, Jacqui and Sam, so welcome aboard! We are always seeking more helpers within the club so please come forward if you are interested in getting involved. You don't need to take on a 'big' role - there are plenty of one off activities that you could lend a hand with.
Unfortunately, this year we are saying goodbye to Kylie, Matt and Megan. We thank-you for your efforts over the years and look forward to continuing to see you around the club.
I'd like to congratulate Katherine on her appointment as Secretary and looking forward to working closely with her and the team to providing you a successful and exciting 2016 season.
On behalf of the 2016 Committee, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. George Wagner
