We are delighted to announce that star onballer Myles Sewell has today signed a deal to play for South Croydon next season. The club is very excited about what Myles will bring to the club on and off the field. His leadership will be invaluable to the rest of the playing group. A close friendship with senior player Stephen Dinnell was a contributing factor to the club being able to sign such a decorated player from VFL club North Ballarat.
Bit of History on Myles:
Sewell began his football with his home club Newlyn in the CHFL and played 39 games with the North Ballarat Rebels in TAC Cup in 2004-06 – representing the Victoria Country under-16s in 2004 and winning the 2006 best and fairest.
He played with Coburg in the VFL in 2007 before joining the Roosters in 2008.
Sewell played 138 senior games for the Roosters winning 3 premierships
He missed 2014 owing to an overseas trip, playing with Ballarat Swans in the BFL on his return that season.
Sewell returned to North Ballarat this year, taking on the role of co-captain and finished runner up in the Liston medal for 2015
