Round 14 2013 was a day James Ives would rather forget. The up and coming star of the Hornets NEAFL ruptured his ACL and has now spent the last 16 months in recovery.
There was a glimmer of hope last year just prior to finals but it was obvious to all that focussing on the start of 2016 was the best thing for James.
James has now been in full training since the start of November and we all look forward to the classy midfeilder taken the feild in Round 1 against Southport.
James is the son of Queensland legend Peter Ives who passed away in 2011. The former Grogan Medalist and QLD team of the century nominee would be proud of his sons attention to detail as he looks to regain his spot in the Hornets NEAFL team in 2016.
Good luck James
