Richard Sutherland will lead the reserves team in 2016.
Richard has long been a part of the club and played has played a vital role, particularly with the reserves, in recent years.
His sons Lockie and Austin are also valued players at the club.
Richard has thanked the club for the opportunity and says he is excited about what lies ahead for the club which is currently in an exciting phase of talented youth.
“I am pleased to be able to try and forge a path for our younger players to become senior footballers and some of these boys took that step last year,” he said.
“This gives me a platform to work with and prove to every player that if they work hard enough and wish to improve their football they will be given a chance to play senior football.
“I’m sure I will be given all the support required to ensure that we make the season an enjoyable one and if we win a few games along the way that will be the icing on the cake.
“My mantra is to have the reserves enjoy their football and have as many new players and existing players make a contribution to our football club both on and off the field.”
Richard will be assisted by Matt McCoombe and Rod Sutherland among others.
The reserves are currently training alongside the seniors at Kiloran Reserve every Monday and Wednesday night. If you are interested in jumping on board for what is sure to be a massive 2016, get in touch with Richard on 0412 043 090.
Premiership coach Neil Wells will again coach the Under 19s in 2016.
