A fantastic turnout for the first official function of the season for the Newcastle City Blues. The jumper presentation evening held at the Commonwealth Hotel was well attended by around 60 of the Club faithful with Senior Coach, John Burns presenting the players with the 2007 Season jumpers.
Club Major Sponsor, the Commonwealth Hotel were represented by resident Hotel Manager Mick who thanked the boys for the great turnout and gave some encouraging words for the coming football season.
That cheeky little wingman, Jayson Cleaver was lucky enough to retain his No.1 jumper for the year and promptly stated his intentions to "kick a bag of goals in 07", with some heavy wagers seemingly on offer.

On other news, the intra-club practice match went well despite the heat with some of the new boys and the old performing well under the eyes of the Senior Coaching committee.
