We have provided this letter of introduction so that Football Queensland may canvass you, the parents of the players who represent Bribie Tigers, on whether you wish to stay in the Sunshine Coast Football Zone or transfer to Football Brisbane Football Zone.

Your club management committee strongly recommend that we remain in SCF but Football Queensland have requested that you make a free choice to stay or transfer.

You may have heard that the members of Caboolture Sports FC voted to transfer to Football Brisbane and you are being given that same choice, involvement in making our own decision and not being transferred as the result of a decision made by another club

There are some factors you might consider before making your decision and they are as follows:

• At miniroo level, without Caboolture in our hub, we may compete in a hub which might include Buderim, Caloundra and Maleny and this would involve additional travel but we believe would be no more onerous than travelling to either Redcliffe, Narangba, or Pine Rivers for example.

• At junior level however a transfer to Football Brisbane may involve travel to games at Moggill, Taringa, St Lucia or other clubs north of the Brisbane River for example.

• Within SCF games are predominantly played on a Saturday morning but this may not be the case in FB where games are also played on Sundays as decided by individual clubs.

However you vote, please respond quickly as we need a decision from FQ as soon as possible, so that we can press ahead with improvements planned, not the least of which is the new sponsored shirt deal we are negotiating.
