U13 NPL UPDATE
Under 13's NPL in a glance
The year so far...
Has started out very challenging for these young group of teenagers who are not only learning about themselves & changes they are going through but also learning to fit into a new team and new coaching staff.
This has been a difficult task which we have seen both at training & on game day. The team took a while to get to know & trust each other as well as get to know, trust & understand the coaching staff and their new style of coaching.
At the beginning of the season challenges did arise which saw their confidence drop as a team which then affected their game and lead to continuous loses.
But with hard work & commitment from our coaching team we began to see changes in this team. The team began believing in themselves as one again and as a team have learnt to trust each other. They are confidently playing as one, playing the game to their plan, & mostly enjoying the game and each other as a team.
Our keeper Ahmad saves all our goals.
Our defence Aisen, Lucienne, Luke.G, Liam & Sammy prevent the ball from getting through.
Our midfield Anthony, Claudia, Luke.P, Anton & Zac create chances & lead the play.
Our forwards Daniel, Marco, Lucas, Patrick & Teli finish it all with a goal.
In round 14 we lose 2 of our players Claudia & Marco to injuries & other commitments which side line them out of the game for 5-6 weeks. This has been a big loss to the group and we can't wait to have them back, but has also been the time the team have had to step up & pull together as one.
The coaching team have believed, encourage & made changes to the game plan to see the team move foreword & continue to achieve their best. Their hard work and commitment is starting to show during game days & from their wins.
As a team we would also like to thank the under 12's who have supported us with their players on game days. This shows us, we all have individual teams but as a whole we are one playing group.
Keep up the good work 13's, continue to show the passion and commitment you all have and most of all continue to learn and have fun. Enjoy the rest of the season...
