The Yarras had three wins in the football, with the smallest win being 75 points.

The Netball All 4 Pets Report:
Round 10 Vs Black Rock. Coming off a good effort against Dingley the week before the Yarras were hoping for a win. With a slow start, Black Rock got away. Their shooters were on fire and their defenders were tall. The Yarras came good in the second half, matching Black Rock goal for goal, however it was too late and the damage was done. A great game by Tara playing in WD and Eddie feeding the ball well into the goal ring in WA. Final score 39-20.
The Thirds Tower Hotel Report:
The Thirds played the Dandenong Redlegs whom had some bench players which helped them put up a challenge to the fancied Yarras. The Yarras got off to a slow start and wasted opportunities in front of goal. The Yarras were fifty points up at halftime and kept the Redlegs goalless until the third quarter. First gamer, Castrignano dominated with his run and carry. He kicked three goals. Cameron continued his goal kicking form, booting four. Singh was great in his 3rd game of footy, including kicking a goal. Borgy battled hard all day. Quince was solid in the ruck. While the score line looked like it was in the Yarras favour, some sloppy disposal in the 3rd quarter let Dandenong kick a few back. Lockhart kicked three goals. Graham played a vital part and kicked two goals. Bernard Brady celebrated his 150th game with a 75 point win.
The Reserves Bendigo Bank Report:
The Reserves played the reigning premiers, Lyndale, on a beautiful winter’s day on a large pristine oval. The Yarras had six changes from the previous week. In the first half the Yarras had crisp ball movement, used their teammates well, ran the football and out played their opponents having a 61 point halftime lead. However, the Yarras went backwards in the third term and stopped doing all the right things which could be attributed to them not going into the rooms at halftime. Lyndale reduced the lead to 56 points at the final break. Stiles had vice-like hands trapping the ball and taking many marks. He was dominant up forward kicking 5 goals. Dore put on an unbelievable performance kicking four goals, including a left foot snap from 30 metres out on a 45 degree angle. It must be noted that the math teacher didn't estimate the distance he had run well enough costing him a goal. Higgins’ strength in the middle was valuable and he kicked two goals. Lange was unselfish sharing the footy around and chiming in with a brace of his own. Joyce took many marks around the ground and continually drove the ball forward. Strelec had more tap outs than Goldstein in an unchallenged contest. Halverson and Barr trumped their opponents. The Yarras won by 89 points.
The Seniors Brady Tiling Report:
The Seniors played the eighth placed Lyndale. Scores were level at quarter-time. After 1/4 time the Yarras won 31-19 clearances. A 6-5 to 1-2 second term put the Yarras into a comfortable 33 point lead at the long break. The Yarras then extended their lead to 59 points at three-quarter time. A last minute change saw Stiles play his second game for the day and kick three more goals (8 for the day). The large ground suited the Yarras' quick wingmen, Brady and Finlayson as they put on a show. Brady kicked four in a best on ground performance. Merchant had more catches than Ian Healy and kicked three goals. Venville kicked two in his Senior debut. Davies was electrifying and kicked two. Symons was a crowd pleaser taking some entertaining marks and slotting two goals. MacDonald found himself in the forward line and kicked his first goal for the Yarras since 2013. Braybrook kicked the second best goal of the day, left foot, 40m out from goal, 5m in from the boundary. Tuck was fearless and gave out some hard hits. E. Hanney rucked well all day and sold more candy than Willy Wonka. 42% of the Yarras scoring shots came directly from clearances. Cellini was serviceable. The Yarras final quarter was their highest scoring quarter since round 6 last year (9.2). The Yarras have the second best defense in the league conceding an average of just 54.6 points per game. The Yarras celebrated their biggest win since round 18, 2011 running out 108 point victors.
The Yarras’ celebrations really “took off” at the ‘Around the World’ function on Saturday night. Big thanks to Mendes, Volpetti and Braybrook for facilitating such a great evening.
