The Sunshine Coast football community is mourning the loss of one of the best with the passing of Mick Matson this week.
Known to most as Matso, or the Grumpy Tasmanian,Matso has been involved with local footy since the 80s, originally with the Roos and more recently with AFLQ Masters and the Sunshien Coast Rayners.
In that time he has looked after the welfare of many players match days with injured players. He is always at training and does so much for all who require assistance. He has been committed to Queensland Superules and its concept over all these years. These sorts of blokes are an asset and much appreciated by everybody involved in Superules.
Matso was familair face around the coast and was always interested in anything footy. He will be dearly be missed as both a volunteer and mate to many.
