All past and present Calder Cannons FC staff, players, families and supporters mourn the loss of Life Member and Hall of Fame inductee Phil Dunk, who passed away suddenly on Saturday night.
A tribute to his life will be held at the Joseph Allison Chapel (941 Mt Alexander Rd, Essendon) at 2.30pm on Friday 15th May. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Australia would be appreciated by his family. Envelopes will be available at the Chapel. Following the Service, all are invited to continue sharing your memories of Phil at the Strathmore Bowls Club (40 Loeman Street, Strathmore) from 4pm.
Phil was a part of the TAC Cup since its beginning in 1992, and joining the Cannons as a trainer in our first year in 1995. He was recently inducted into the Calder Cannons FC Hall of Fame and has been a Life Member since 2004.
Phil was the first person to say hello to hundreds of Cannons footballers and staff over 21 years, and will be hugely missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Our thoughts are with his sister Janet and family at this hard time.
Always A Cannon.
