If you're looking to watch some good quality community footy after paying your respect on Anzac Day then Fisherman's Rd is the place to be. The Roos will take on local rivals Noosa in seniors and reserves, the Colts will take on Redland while the thirds will clash with Gympie in a twilight fixture.
The Maroochydore/Noosa clash is always of a highlight of the footy calendar with the two clubs playing in some epic battles dating back almost 40 years.
Noosa have held the upper hand for the past few seasons however Maroochydore will be aiming to turn that around in front of what is anticipated to be a large crowd.
The season is still in its infancy however both sides are expected to feature int he final series so it's shaping up to be a showcase of good quality community footy.
The highlight of the day will be the senior clash which kicks of at 2pm, however the Reserves will kick off the curtain raiser on ground 1 from 11.45 while the Colts will clash with Redland on Oval 2 from Noon.
And if you want to extend your day, be sure to hang around and enjoy a beer with the players and watch the thirds clash with Gympie on Oval 1 from 5.45pm.
