Positions Vacant – Contributors Wanted, Development Opportunities
With the new season getting closer the club is now seeking to fill a range of roles at both club and team level –club committee, assistant coaching, team management, assistant referee, ground marshal and first aid roles are all available - and have to be filled for our teams to operate effectively.
As a volunteer-based community club we know that many hands really do make light work.
The club will provide support, training and recognition for all our volunteers, so get involved. It won’t take up too much time and it’s worth it.
How about five good reasons to volunteer………..
- Help things be done better – we all either complain about things from time to time or reckon we can do them better – okay, so get on board and do something about it
- Help your kids and their friends - yes, it really is all about the kids and if you want them and their friends to have the best experience, then pitch in
- Use your skills – everyone has skills that they can apply to getting things done – use yours
- Develop your skills – volunteer roles are often excellent opportunities to develop skills that can help your career or life away from football
- Time to pay it back – not to guilt trip you too much but if you or your child has benefited from the time and effort of other volunteers coaches, managers, committee members in the past (and who hasn’t) then
And a sixth reason…. You will enjoy it! Knowing you have helped, experiencing football in a deeper way, working with other people and learning new things.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
