FC Williamstown 2015 Comedy Night!

Saturday March 21st Wiliamstown will erupt with laughter with 3 talented performers making their way to the club rooms at JT Gray Reserve.

FC Williamstown has worked hard to secure such fantastic acts to come along in what should be one of the best shows seen in Williamstonw for quite some time.

The night will be hosted by funny man Evan Hocking. Evan is a regular at Melbourne comedy rooms and sporting clubs around Victoria. Evan began his career in Melbourne before moving up to Port Douglas in Far North Queensland. His comedy style was a perfect fit and he compered and performed at a number of social and charity events in the region.

Having being starved for comedy venues to perform at in Port Douglas he moved back to Melbourne the comedy centre of Australia. With a punchy delivery but relaxed persona his observational humour and storytelling has made him popular at sporting clubs.  For those Bomber fans Evan is also the Brother of AFL footballer Heath Hocking.

Other acts include Tommy Little and Bev Killick.

Tommy is the most exciting young comedian of his generation. His comedy bubbles with an irresistible energy - bursting to tell you the next story. He's smart, engaging and capable of holding a room in the palm of his hand.

2014 marked the start of a new era for Tommy, as he and Meshel Laurie took the reins of the Nova 100 breakfast slot. He also brought a new show – Middleclass Gangster – to the Melbourne Comedy Festival, and is making quite a habit of popping up on The Project.

Bev Killick is from the bold and brassy school of stand up, delivering a non-stop energetic set every time. As soon as she blast’s her way on stage, you know you’re in for a treat. Bev is likeable, bawdy and real.

Bev started making people laugh from the age of ten, at family gatherings. Invariably these gatherings would end up with Bev putting on a show. Always the class clown and lunch time entertainer, Bev’s ability to remember a joke (handed down from her Dad at the meatworks) and tell it well , saw her doing Stand Up Comedy in the school quadrangle long before she knew that it would be her calling.

There will of course be plenty of food and drinks available as well.

Tickets are on sale now from the club rooms. Prices are $35 per ticket ($30 for members)
