Eva has been a life member since 1955, making her the longest living life member we have (at 60 years).
Mick Benham held this honour at 61 years until he passed away at Christmas.
Eva was born on January 16th 1915, six years before our footy club was founded! She has seen every Premiership the club has won in her lifetime. Amazing!
The Parker family name has had a long history at Silvan, our change rooms are named after Eva's late husband Roland "Joe" Parker. Joe was awarded life membership in 1952, their son, Rowley Parker became a life member in 1964. Grandfather, Jack Parker was our first ever life member in 1936 and Eva's brother in law, Jim Parker was awarded a life membership in 1954. And in between all that has been many Parker sons, cousins, nephews, etc all playing footy at Silvan.
Eva has been a huge part of our club and our club has been a huge part of Eva's life too. Eva still lives in Silvan and still very much has her wits about her.
A true Silvan legend and the first to hit 100 years old!
We wish you the very best Eva, from all at #catsfooty!
