AC CARINA IS PROUD TO HOST THE 2015 NAB PRE-SEASON CUP
The Cup featuring AC Carina, Toowong, Narangba and Kangaroo Point is a round robin tournament over the next 3 weekends, culminating with a grand final to be held on Thursday 5th February. It will feature both first grade and reserves.
The competition is expected to be hotly contested with AC Carina, Narangba and Toowong all considered potential front runners for the Capital 3 competition, while Kangaroo Point knows all about Capital 3 having won it comprehensively in 2013 before establishing a firm foothold in Capital 2 last year.
There are a few tweaks to normal game play, with games ending in a draw going straight into a penalty shoot out with the winner of the penalty shoot out gaining 2 points, and the loser gaining one point. A Bonus point will also be on offer should anyone score more than 5 goals in a single match. The only normal outcome is that a winner will receive 3 points, and a loser 0 points.
The first round of games will be:
Friday 630 & 830 AC Carina v Kangaroo Point
Sunday 4pm & 6pm Toowong v Narangba
