Long time South Toowoomba volunteer, Sophie Smith has been re-appointed as the clubs Women's coach for season 2015.
Head Coach Smith has been around the red and black family for numerous seasons. Coaching the women's side to premiership success in the AFL Darling Downs women's competitions maiden season, Smith continued that success with another Grand-Final appearance the following season.
After involvement in numerous representative programs in the region, Smith is looking to develop an elite culture and discipline at the regions leading female football club.
Former Longhorn player and youth girls representative coach Jay Anderson will join the Bombers women's team for season 2015. Anderson's professionalism and knowledge will be a competitive advantage for the red and black. Joining the Smith, Anderson combination will be Under 16 DD School-Girls coach and Queensland school-girls manager Nick Clarry. Clarry is also a AFL Queensland school Ambassador at Harristown State High School and will be a welcome addition to the red and black family.
