TRYathlon info:
The club has been contacted by the 2015 Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon Series (http://try.weetbix.com.au/), which kicks off soon and is looking for volunteers to assist. The TRYathlon Series is designed to get kids off the couch and into a sport. The series will provide $25 back to the club for every North Shore player/supporter who volunteers (be sure to state that you are part of the North Shore Football Club group). The club would encourage anyone who is free to lend a helping hand and help earn the club a few dollars (wear your North Shore gear too if possible!).
The events looking for volunteers are located in Sydney on the 16th of January (Sydney Olympic Park), 18th of January (Sydney Olympic Park) and 25th of January (International Penrith Regatta Centre).
To enrol to volunteer go to http://www.rosterfy.co/register.php?a=2518. For further details please contact Bronte on weet-bixvolunteer@x-tri.com.au.
Having the club lend a helping hand at events like these is not only a good thing to do, but will be greatly beneficial for the club over the long term. Besides directly helping community organisations and causes, volunteering will contribute to a more positive image of the club in the community and will provide our brand with broader reach, making it easier for the club to grab attention of sponsors, new players, and other important stakeholders. Keep an eye out for more opportunities like these over the year, as well as opportunities to engage with junior clubs so we ensure our successful U19s program continues to grow.
