New Senior Men's Coach Appointed for 2015
This week saw the announcement of Chris Andronikidis as Senior Men's Coach for season 2015 supported by Mark Roca who will take on the Reserves Coach role.
A player at the club since 2011, this role at Zebras will be his first as a senior coach although he has experience coaching juniors and had a stint as the Zebras' Technical Director in 2012.
As a young coach and as a recent player Chris says he will build on the positive attitudes of the players. He believes that the players want to win and that his role as coach will include making sure that the players enjoy training and want to be at the club. He also recognises that one of his key challenges will be coaching former team mates.
As well as playing for Yarraville Glory in the former State League 2, Chris has enjoyed a range of football experiences, including participation in an Australian Select team in an Arsenal tournament in London. He is now lined up to undertake his senior coaching licence to add to his existing junior qulaifications.
Chris' best football experience to date is his attendance at the 2006 Men's World Cup in Germany.
New Reserves coach Mark Rocca also comes from the 2014 playing list and knows the club well having played as a Zebra for 13 years since his junior days.
