The Cannons are excited to announce Andrew Johnston will be our coach for the 2015 TAC Cup Season!
Andrew is no stranger to TAC Cup and AFL Victoria Development area.
Between 2001 and 2005 Andrew was the Development Manager of the Eastern Ranges and between 2005 and 2009 held the same role at the Cannons. This role also involved responsibilities in coaching and talent ID programs, running the U16 Barry Davis Squad.
During the period between 2002-2009 Andrew was both an assistant and head coach of the Vic Metro U16 Squad.
Andrew played for Fitzroy FC between 1990 and 91, and coached Strathmore FC in the EDFL in 1999. In 2010 Andrew was inaugurated as the Gold Coast Suns AFL Development Coach, NEAFL Assistant and Academy manager, eventually having a role with the AFL team game day.
Andrew has recently completed his level 3 coaching course.
