De La Salle are very pleased to announce the recent appointment of Fabian Carelli to our coaching staff.
Fab is a former Collingwood U/19 (Captain) & Reserves grade player who has played over 300 Senior games across a number of different competitions. In 1997, Fab won the William Leitch medal as the Best & Fairest player in the Tasmanian Football League.
Fab was the Senior Coach of East Burwood in 2012 & 2013 and prior to this he was Senior Coach of Montmorency for 3 years.
Paul Satterley is extremely happy with the appointment and believes 'Fab will be an excellent addition to our coaching team. He brings great coaching experience as well being a former VFL/TFL player and I am very confident the players will benefit greatly by having Fab at our club.'
Tom Madigan (family commitments) and Ash Lever (recently appointed Ormond Senior Coach) are not with the club in 2014. We thank them both for there efforts and wish them well for the future.
Mick Brown will work closely with with Fab and they will manage our Midfield & Forward line whilst Lachy Walker returns as our Backline Coach. John McDonough will continue as our Reserves Coach.
Lachy was fantastic support for Satts on Match Days this season and his time commitment was limited due to the birth of his first child.
We all look forward to pre-season commencing and getting the players fit for a big 2015 season.
