After a successful season on and off the paddock in 2014, Senior Coach Joe Mitchell has made the decision to move on from full time coaching duties for the upcoming 2015 season to focus his time on his young family. Joe leaves a tremendous legacy at the club, being largely responsible for the tremendous growth in participation since starting in his role at the end of 2012. The entire Lismore Swans Family wish Joe the best with his future endeavours and look forward to enjoying his company around the club in a less formal role.
The Lismore Swans are therefore taking the opportunity to seek expressions of interest for the positions of Senior Coach, Assistant Senior Coach and Reserve Grade Coach, with the successful applicants commencing preseason training with the playing group in early December.
Persons wishing to apply should email an expression of interest addressed to 'The Secretary' at lismoreswans@gmail.com by close of business on Friday 14 November. Applicants who are successful in being granted an interview will be notified by Monday 17 November, with interviews taking place in the week following.
Expressions of interest must contain a short history of the applicant's playing and/or coaching career and a statement as to how they would contribute positively to the club environment on and off the field if selected to their desired position.
