The Noosa Australian Football Club’s next Annual General Meeting will be held at our Clubhouse, 155 Weyba Road, Noosaville Qld. 4566 on Thursday 6th November, 2014 at 6:00pm.
This is your chanc to have your say about the running of the club and/or to nominate to be a member of the Management Committee.
Nominations: NOW CLOSED
At the Annual General Meeting of the Club, all the members of the Management Committee for the time being shall retire from office, but shall be eligible upon nomination for re-election. Any two Members of the Club shall be at liberty to nominate any other Member to serve as an office of the Management Committee.
Nominations are to be received in writing at least fourteen (14) days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
The nomination is to be signed by the Member, the Members nominator and seconder.
If no written nominations are received, nominations shall be taken from the floor.
Should written nominations be received for each position, no nominations will be taken from the floor.
To be eligible to serve on the committee you must:
- Be an adult and be a financial Member of the Club;
- Agree to abide by the policies of the Club.
Voting:
- Voting will take place at the Annual General Meeting. For positions, other than committee person, where more than one nomination is received voting shall be by secret ballot.
- Where a Member chooses to vote by proxy or by attorney that proxy or attorney can only hold the vote of any one member.
- One parent, guardian or care giver per junior member family shall be entitled to one vote.
