Congupna's Greg Shannon was awarded the Goulburn Murray Coaches Associaton Youth (U14 - U18) Coach of the Year.
Greg was nominated by Congupna to the Murray Football League who then submitted his nomination to the GM Coaches association for consideration. There were eight finalists in this category from the Goulburn Murray area and at the annual coaches dinner Greg was award the Coach of the Year. He was presented with a watch , donated by Blizzards Jewellers and a plaque which will hang proudly in Gregs home.
The winner from each of the four categories has been nominated for the State awards which are presented at the State AFCA Presentation night on Friday 14 November at the MCC members room at the MCG.
The club wishes Greg good luck for the state awards.
