Support Debbie to assist raising funds for Cancer

Hi everyone

Our Club Treasurer, Debbie is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge during October to fight kids' cancer!

Her challenge starts next week from the 1 October.

Debbie will be pedalling for 31 days with the goal to ride 300 km throughout the entire month.

When asked Why are you doing this? Debbie replied "Because cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in Australia – 3 children die of cancer every week!  It will be tough, but nothing compared to what these kids face every day of their lives as they battle this terrible disease. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it  I am taking on this personal challenge to raise $500 to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve."

If you are interested in sponsoring Debbie in helping her achieve her goal to helping these kids  Simply click the link below to view her personal fundraising page and make a donation:

All funds raised will support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Thank you for your support.

We all wish Debbie good luck in her endeavours

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
