On Friday 12th of September the Northern Knights held their 2014 Presentation Night at Rydges, Bell City Preston. A packed crowd of just under 200 people attended the event which provided a great atmosphere throughout the evening.
The Night began with the induction of a new Life Member of the Northern Knights, Forward Scout Alan Barr honoured for his 14 years of service to club. South Morang U/17 Player Jade Gresham then became the first winner of our new perpetual award “The Michael Mascoulis Rising Star Award’ in honour of former player Michael Mascoulis who was tragically killed in car accident in November 2013.
The Best & Fairest count later in the evening threw up a few surprises with runaway leader at the midpoint of the season Jordan Perry looking to hold off fast finishers Sam Switkowski & Zach Ballard. Eventually Switkowski secured 1st place with 120 votes ahead of Ballard on 98 and Perry 94.
