Round 17 Wrap Up
Season coming to an end, but the big games are still coming.
U9’s Home to Diamond Valley. Diamond Valley had some real depth in the Joeys (for first year players!). Our boys did great and took to the challenge, with everyone putting in and playing to their best.
U12’s Won 4-1 Home to Mill Park. A team in great form for several weeks now gets four of the best. Mill Park wanted this, and the team took it away early. “You can’t always get what you want” was heard on the Mill Park Team bus as it left the car park.
U14’s Lost 2-4 Home to Upfield. Upfield are top, and there is a reason; they win and win comfortably with only two loses for the season.
U15’s Won 3-2 Away to Diamond Valley. A Big game, win and double. Nillumbik took all the honours with wins both home and away this season. The highlight real was packed with James scoring from a corner, coach tears over a penalty and an own goal. Hollywood could not have written a better script.
