. The Craig Coghlan/CSR Monier best player went to Justin Van Unen who put on a show. Other best was Ryan Mullett, Bernie Dinneen, Lachy Johns, Paul Chadwick, David Barton, Simon Taylor, Daniel Reid. Today we host Balwyn for a most important contest that we are more than keen to win given recent results between the Clubs. Good luck boys, your efforts over the past few months have been outstanding and not finished yet. The Reserves last week got a similar reception and also had to dig deep. The better players were James Shambrook, Tom Pretto, Travis Bird, Jarryd Smith, Nick Mendes, Nick Johnson, Andy Ellis, Luke Johnson, Liam Wales-Buxton. The Under 19 boys had an easy day but they did manage keep their concentration throughout. The Transit Best Players were Christian Vassis leading the way, along with Luke Molyneux, Ryan Phillips, BrandonPerring, Jay Barlow, Mike Carroll and Brook Kainey. Congratulations to our Junior Club firstly for getting five sides to the big day and to come home with Flags for U13A and Under 14Ds. Well done to all for another terrific Junior season. Also our thanks go to all those who helped the Committee run the A Section Junior Finals last Sunday at Vermont and achieve such a wonderful result. The Grand Final Day was quite incredible, but such a lot of work with the four games. Today we have our final Pre Match Lunch and welcome speakers Tony Jones (Channel Nine) and Richard Wilson ( Melbourne Victory) and some hungry supporters. Last but far from least - A big GET WELL to our very own legend 95 year old Jack Murphy who had a serious medical setback last week and all people at Vermont, particularly his beloved players, wish him a speedy recovery. Three wins today may make all the difference. Go Eagles !!
