Round 16 Wrap Up
Round 16 had the local Derby, with Nillumbik taking honours.
U9’s away to Diamond Valley. Big effort from the team in this game and both teams went away with a good result. With a few players not feeling their best, and a bigger pitch, our boys showed real fitness and determination.
U12’s Won 6-0 Away to Eltham. Six unanswered goals, as the team went down to Wattle Tree road and looted. This was a great team effort that was built on the last two weeks of heavy lifting and commitment. Eltham were kept out of the game from start to finish. Well done team!
U14’s Drew 1-1 Away toMill Park.Mill Park is a quality team that are difficult at home. A goal a piece is a decent result; no doubt both coaches will rue the missed opportunities.
U15’s Lost 4-0 Home to Mill Park. Mill Park had to come back from last times 7-1 touch up handed out earlier by the Boys. The Boys were in with a show, missing several goals, but Mill Park wanted the result. Still 7-5 our way on aggregate!
