The Seniors struggled to get their game going for all sorts of reasons, one of which was a terrific effort by the young Scoresby players. But the four points were very valuable as we go into the final two very competitive games. The Craig Coghlan CSR Monier award went to Adam Parker. Other Best were Lachy Johns, Kris Barden, Ryan Mullett, Justin Van Unen, Ash Froud , Matt willcocks and Dean Waller. The Reserves also were slow to get going but did get the job done comfortably in the end. The Better players were Nick Mendes , Shane Davidson , Luke Johnson , Travis Bird , Jarryd Smith and Kyle Staples. No under 19 game at Vermont sadly, but our other team the mighty Forest Hill Eagles were at home versus Park Orchards. The young boys did very well leading at threequarter time, but were unable to maintain their effort in final term. We have lots of talented youngster who we hope will be up playing at Terrara Road next year. Well done to Coach Rick Bell and his helpers for an excellent year. The better players last Saturday were and Nathan Beacom, Chris Bell, Luke Morris, Fraser Day, Nathan Werle ( 5 goals) and Mitch Stevens . A big thankyou to all the boys who played with us at Forest Hill and to The Forest Hill Football Club who looked after them very well and were terrific. Tomorrow our Junior Club has a huge day with five teams in Grand Finals. An incredible effort and we wish them well and a very enjoyable night back at Vermont afterwards. We are conducting Junior Finals at Vermont and the Vermont U13 A Team will play East Burwood at 10.45. Hope you all will be there to cheer them on. Go Eagles !!!
