Round 10 Wrap Up

The sun comes out late in the day as Scoop travels away.

U9’s home to Yarra Jets. The boys went at it like a machine, with great passing and build up. Scoop was very impressed how the boys controlled the ball and looked up for options. Great to see so many options going forward, and the defence keeping it tight down back.

U12’s lost 0-3 home to Northern Falcons. The team failed to take advantage of having extra players early, and when reinforcements arrived for Falcons, the game was taken away. This was still a good effort form a first year team, with a few chances to score that went begging. Lack of training might have played a part, but Scoop thinks that could be called sooking up.

U14’s BYE.

U15’s Won 3-4 Away to Thomastown. Nillumbik took the points, but as often happens, the boys do a bolt then the other team gets on top and rolls out the goals with a change of tactics. Boys were able to hang on this time for a well deserved win. It was great to see Connor at the game.
