The second quarter evened out with lalor dragging back the Redbacks lead slightly by half time to set up the second half. lalor looked the better team for the first 20 minutes of the final quarter to get within 8 points, but The Hills steadied in the time on period to stretcxh the lead back out to 22 points at the finbal break and give themselves a great chance for an upset win. However, the visitors werent going to go away easily and gradually worked their way on top to finish with a couple of goal win following a seven goal to one final quarter.
RESERVES
UNDER 19's
Under lights the U19s took on Lalor and in the pre game we had the belief that we were going to produce a much more competitive effort than what we did when we last met. Unfortunately we again started slow which gave Lalor the early advantage and from then on we were unable to gain enough scoreboard pressure to bring ourselves back in the game. While we were able to hit the scoreboard regularly after half time we couldn't stop the swift skills of Lalor midfield who were able to delivery to their forwards precisely. Our back line did well and we were able to complete one on one but we got beaten on the lead regularly which set-up the Lalor win. Better Players were Bailin Searle, Josh Dowling, Daniel Burleigh, Liam Harvey and Jackson Mill.
