Round 9 Wrap up
A wet and windy week end, but some great efforts from the teams.
U9’s home Watsonia. Scoop was impressed with this one. Our boys are really coming on as a team, with passing and team work that is a pleasure to watch. With cold wind and rain our boys never stopped having fun.
U12’s lost 0-1 home to Northern Falcons. Top of the ladder Falcons failed to swoop in this game. Nillumbik was ready to play and play they did. The team refused to be dominated and played the game on equal terms.
U14’s lost 1-5 home to Templestowe. New name but still the same! Scoop was really impressed with Templestowe and their sportsmanship, from the technical staff to their supporters, real gold. Everyone is looking forward to the rematch.
U15’s lost 3-4 away to Alphington. Terrible conditions, but the boys stuck this out. Missing several players made the difference. With Connor out for the season, all the parents, players and official wish him all the best in recovery.
