Joel to represent AFL Goldfields

Congratulations to Joel Howell for being selected in the final squad to represent the AFL Goldfields team in Far North Queensland. Bad luck to Blake Salmon who missed the cut for final selection.

The team will play against a representative team from AFL Cairns at Cazaly Stadium, Cairns on Sunday 29th June at 2pm, and a second game against a combined team from AFL Townsville and AFL Mackay at Tony Ireland Stadium in Townsville, the site of the Under 19 cricket World Cup final held in late 2012, on Wednesday 2nd July at 1pm.
