Round 7 Wrap Up

Scoop gets around the games, with most of the action at home this round.

U9’s Home to Diamond Valley. Scoop grabbed a famous sausage in a Community Bakery Role (free plug) and strode to the side lines for this exciting encounter. What a game, fast with class. Nillumbik had to work hard all game for a well deserved result. Coach Chris was a bit concerned about the boys not keeping shape at the back, but the line held. Well done Boys!

U12’s Won 1-0 home to Eltham. Scoop felt the Nillumbik team had all the position and made the play, but couldn’t pull away on the scoreboard. Some great runs and chains of passes, but near misses! Great effort Team, 3 points is 3 points after all.

U14’s Won 5-2 home to Mill Park. This team is quietly going about its business of winning games and scoring goals. Nick grabbed three and Joel two. In control all day, a real team performance.

U15’s Won 7-1 away to Mill Park. Very close first half with some great skills on display from Mill Park forwards. Nillumbik Boys were just a notch above, with goals coming from corners, centre runs and great crosses. Captain Nick scored for us this time! We all know he wants an ABS Blaster for Christmas after the post goal celebrations.
