The PJ Burns Noosa Tigers took on bottom placed Caboolture on Saturday at Weyba Road. The Tigers welcomed back Brett Duke and Lou Fary to the team and Dan Pertot for his first senior game for the season. Out went Jai Fitzpatrick with a knee injury and Tim Storrer with an ankle injury as well as Steve Simpson.
Noosa started the day brilliantly and never took the foot off the pedal to record a massive 265 point victory in a polished 4 quarter performance. James Gellie kicked 14 goals in a standout performance at full forward. Shane Davis was superb all day in the midfield raking up 40 plus possession and kicking 4 goals. Peter Trompf was moved into the ruck and worked hard all day and gave Noosa plenty of drive. Brett Duke was elusive as ever in the forward line and kicked a lazy 6 goals. Seb Rogers played on a wing and floated up forward and caused plenty of headaches finishing the day with 6 goals also.
Noosa kicked 9 goals in the first quarter followed by 13 in the second to head into half time with a score line of Noosa 22-17-149 to Caboolture 2-1-13. Gellie praised the boys for sticking to the structures and playing within the game plan. After half time Noosa added 11 goals in the 3rd term and another 11 goals in the last to finish the game with 44-27-291 to Caboolture 4-2-26.

This now puts Noosa into 2nd place and a game clear of 3rd placed Maroochydore.
The Reserves also had a big win in the early game; Noosa 29-12-186 to Caboolture 1-2-8. Jack Tickner returned after his knee injury and kicked 9 goals, Lincoln High played his first game of the year and finished with 3 goals, Zac McDonald continued his good form with another 4 and Max Paterson was in everything also finishing with 4. Tickner was named best followed by Tom Robilliard who is in career best form. Mick Smith played his best game of the year off a wing and Darcy Little provide plenty of run off the back line.
The Reserves have now won four in a row and sit in fourth place and only one game behind 3rd.
The Colts had a great win 20.11.131 defeating Cabooture 2.5.175 to notch up back to back wins. Better players included Corey Boardman, Mark Braithwaite, Tom Hancock, Riley O'Dwyer, Rheuben Ralph and Mixhael Morey.
Next week see's the The Fiona Winter Realty NoosaTigers take on arch rival Maroochydore at Noosa. This is going to be a cracking day as the Roos sit 3rd in the seniors and 2nd in the reserves. It is also the Noosa Past Players day and a lot of the past players will be in attendance, including Ex Noosa coach and current Maroochydore coach Brett Maloney. Also happening is the Presidents Lunch with former great Mark Harvey as guest speaker. But wait, there is more it's Noosa captain Peter Trompf's 100th senior game. This is one day that you have to be at Weyba road.
Colts begin at 9:45am, the Reserves at 11.45 am and the main game begins at 2pm.
