The Seniors started slowly but made up for things with a massive last quarter did achieve the percentage boost they were after. Best Players in Seniors were Lachlan Johns, Ryan Mullet, Simon Taylor, Tom Schneider, Dave Barton, Justin Van Unen, everyone. The better Reserves Players were Ash Froud, Brett Castersen, Jack McEwin, Kyle Staples, Shane Davidson, Jarrod Dalton and Andy Hackett. Special mention to the five boys from the Under 19’s, well done.
Today is a Milestone game for one of our very best players and people in Grant McCarthy who is playing his 200th Senior game. Along the way he has played in four Senior flags and holds the Club record of 133 consecutive EFL Senior games. A champ in every way.
Today we also have our Past Players Annual lunch and we welcome all of you champions who will no doubt get better as the day goes on. We do have an incredible history that all who took part should feel very proud. We would love to see more of you involved in the PP&A Association there are lots of things that could be done. Today is the 20 year Anniversary of the 1994 Flag when Craig Coghlan coached a Vermont side that contained names like Kris Barlow, Mick Winter, Dave Morrison, Laurie Deer, Craig Gislingham, Cameron Bain, Andrew Dwyer, Todd Power, Steve Tudor, Adrian Little etc etc. They could play .
